The Story Behind the Photo: I just moved into my dream house… next door from a place I called home for the past 4 years. I chalk this place up to be pure manifestation. I had been looking to move - back to the U.S., or maybe to a different town in Costa Rica… but I loved where I was because of my friends, the climate, and I felt like a local in my little farm town.
When I told my landlord that I was moving, he asked me if I wanted to see a place inside his estate next door. I said sure… thinking I would never be able to afford what he was going to show me. It was gorgeous inside and out - with a massive yard and even came with four adorable dogs! I thought it was too good to be true but he offered me the same price I was paying and I couldn’t say no!
It had only been a week since I moved in and my favorite animal in the entire world came to visit me - feet away from my balcony (Carl got to meet her first toucan!). It was easily one of the best mornings I can recall for a long time.
It feels good to be home.
